Reflection:

For this task, we were asked to create a CV designed to illustrate our experiences within the industry. To complete this, I used a template from www.canva.com which enabled me to select an appropriate theme, images, titles, headings, and text. This was my first time using this website to create a CV, however, I found it very straightforward to function as it produced examples of what to incorporate in a typical CV and allowed me to display my experience in a stylish yet professional layout. Completing this task made me aware of how important it is to always have a well presented and up to date CV with any experience on it as it allows you to apply for any other work much easier, shows off your achievements and talent and gives the employer a quick and better understanding of the person that they could be potentially employing.

Evaluation:

I think that I have created a functional and well-presented CV that highlights my proudness achievements and experiences that I have had within the creative industry. I believe that I have selected a way suited theme as the blue and white compliment the colours used in my logo, establishing my brand, yet does not appear too busy or too overwhelming for those who might read. I also think that the information I have provided gives a good understanding of who I am, what I have already achieved and what I aspire to do with my creative career.

To improve my CV, I will need to ensure that I keep updating it regularly with any experience that I complete so if I was to ever apply for a job or get approached for one, that I give the best representation of myself to my future employers/partners.

From the design point of view, if I was to create this again, I would maybe consider the structure and the shapes used in the design. For example, my logo is in a rectangle, as are my background shapes in which the subtitles are situated in. To ensure that this theme is consistent, I would maybe change the shape of the picture to the same shape to establish a set, visual style to my brand and image.
